Bristol North Swimming Club
Bristol North Swimming Club, founded in 1922.
Providing over 100 years of passion and expertise in swimming.
Welcome
We are a competitive, inclusive, and fun club. We teach children to swim from the age of four, and offer experienced coached squad swimming for all ages.
We would be thrilled to have you join our team and look forward to helping you reach your swimming goals.
Our club is a SwimMark club. Formerly called Swim21, SwimMark accreditation is Swim England’s quality standard for clubs. It recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness. Bristol North Swimming Club prioritises the welfare of all its members and its SwimMark accreditation is a testament to our high standards of safeguarding and compliance with Swim England WavePower.
After progressing through our Learn to Swim programme, or if you join us from a local Leisure Centre or other club (subject to a successful trial) then typically you will move into our Swim Development groups or competitive squads. If you are over the age of 16, then you can join our Masters Youth Squad and if you are over 18, you can join our Masters Squad.

Why join us
Many people say that we are Bristol's friendliest club. We work hard to keep it this way; a close family with shared interests in a terrific sport.
We believe in building an enduring passion for our sport. We teach our children the value and merit of hard work and its relationship with reward. But we want our swimmers to stay swimming, and so hard work is balanced with having fun and building lasting friendships.
